He is an Ecuadorian born in Quito with an international academic background, holding a B.S. in International Business from Elizabethtown College in USA and an Executive MBA from Vrije University Amsterdam. Diego is fluent in English, Spanish, and German, with a global perspective in business and logistics. During his early Birding career, he guided many birding tours in the North-east and west slopes of Ecuador. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, now, he is in charge of the Planning, Sales, Logistics and Development area of the business. Diego is passionate about Travelling, Birding and Wildlife Photography and painting birds with Acrylics. Camilo Cruz
Founder
Camilo Cruz is the youngest member of our birding team and a constant source of inspiration. At just 10 years old, he is passionate about birding, photography, and painting, often turning his observations into artwork displayed at Jimenita Lodge.
Having traveled to Costa Rica, Brazil, the USA, and many countries in Europe, he brings a curious and creative perspective. He also loves cooking and dreams of one day becoming the Chef at Jimenita Lodge.
