He studied in the United States at Elizabethtown College in Pennsylvania, and achieved a B.S. in International Business Management and Minor in Chinese Logistics. Furthermore, he has also an Executive MBA in Vrije University Amsterdam and speaks fluent English, Spanish and German. During his early birding career, he guided many birding tours in the North-east and west slopes of Ecuador. With more than 20 years of experience in the field, now, he is in charge of the Planning, Sales, Logistics and Development area of the business. Diego is passionate about Travelling, Birding and Wildlife Photography and painting birds with Acrylics. Daniel is an Ecuadorian Architect and Expert Birding Guide in the Andes and spotting Condors or the Spectacled Bear. Juan Carlos is a biologist and birding guide with over 13 years of experience leading birdwatching and wildlife photography tours across Ecuador. He grew up exploring the dry forests and coastal landscapes of western Ecuador, and later moved to the lush cloud forests of the Chocó highlands — an experience that deepened his connection to nature and shaped his passion for Neotropical birds.

He is an avid traveler, photographer, and birder, his favorite species is the iconic Plate-billed Mountain-Toucan, a colorful emblem of the Andean cloud forest he once called home.
